WESTERVILLE QUEST
Westerville Quest is a combination Geocaching and scavenger hunt in the uptown Westerville areas including the Otterbein College campus. Each of the hunt items have been selected because they feature a unique glimpse of Westerville and its history.
To begin your Quest, click on one of the links in the tool bar. View the picture and read the short narrative. Use the GPS location to answer the question that has been posed. After your visit to a site, confirm your answer by clicking on the picture. A new page will be displayed with additional pictures and information. NO PEEKING in advance!!!.
You may use a handheld GPS unit to visit the location of each site or combine GPS technology with web sites to find the location of each site and make your visits. Several helpful web sites with links are provided below.

No GPS- try Flashearth as an alternative. Click on the link above, read the directions posted, and then click on the screen. In the small search window in the bottom right type in Westerville, Ohio. Click on an area of the map close to uptown Westerville. Check the GPS location below the window. Notice what happens to the latitude (N) as you move the X up and down. Now move the X to the right and left and notice what happens to the longitude (W). With a little experimenting, you will be able to home in fairly close to the GPS location and use the map to pin point the street coordinates to plan your journey.
